Jamie T. Rupert

Jamie T. Rupert, 49, of Zion Grove, passed away early Sunday morning, July 21, 2024, after a long illness. He was surrounded by his loving family. 

 Born in Bloomsburg, October 10, 1974, he was the son of Jody Rupert (wife Dini) and Cathy (Schell) DeCosmo (husband William). He spent the past 11 years living in Zion Grove.

 Jamie was a self-employed videographer and photographer, owner of Entrusted Exotics, LLC, Zion Grove, and an artist.  During his career, he had his pictures and articles published in numerous national magazines. His videography was featured in many movies and he is listed in the International Movie Data Base. He was a longtime advocate for patient rights, and a fantastic father.  Jamie had a passion for plant genetics, animal rights, art, exotic sports cars, and listening to a wide variety of music. 

 He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Laura Splain and Theodore "Sonny" Rupert, and maternal grandparents, Albert and Millie Schell. 

 Surviving in addition to his parents, are his wife, Jennifer Seek Rupert; seven children, Emma, Lily, Legend, Lyric, Sage, Sunny, and Huayra Rupert; sister, Stephanie Hoffmaster; step siblings, Chrissy Fessler, Alicia DeCosmo, Billy DeCosmo, and Sam White; paternal step-grandfather, Lester Splain; best friend, Danno Bayuk; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

 His funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 11AM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen.  Interment will take place privately.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10AM until the time of the service.
