Irene R. (Reisenweaver) Heidrich

Irene R. Heidrich, 99, of Drums, passed away peacefully Friday evening, September 19, 2025, at Providence Place Retirement Community in Drums.

Born in Drums, March 1, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Florence (Smith) Reisenweaver and had spent most of her life in Drums after moving from Sybertsville.

Irene was a bookkeeper for Jeddo Highland Coal Co., Jeddo; Arthur Wenner Garage, Conyngham; Jack Heidrich Garage, Sybertsville; and Aronson Manufacturing Co., Sybertsville. She retired as office manager for Beltrami Enterprises, Hazleton in 1988. Irene was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Johns. She was also a member of the Butler Twp. Sr. Citizens. After retiring she loved spending time with her family, traveling with her husband, Jack, in their motorhome, making ceramics, and studying her family genealogy.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband, John "Jack" Heidrich who passed away June 23, 2011; a brother, Wilbur Reisenweaver, a sister, Marie Biscombe, and a grandson, Brian James Heidrich.

Surviving are two sons, John Heidrich and his wife Glenda, Volcano, CA; and James Heidrich and his fiancée Pat Metzgar, Stroudsburg, PA; five grandsons, Bradley, Ryan, Chad, Todd, and Travis Heidrich, five great-grandchildren; a sister, Clara Jane Jones, Danville, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 15, at 11 AM in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 772 St Johns Rd, St Johns, PA. Friends and family may call at the church from 10AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran and UCC Cemetery. After the interment, there will be a small luncheon in the church.
