Henrietta L. McCormick, 80, of Sugarloaf, passed away late Friday evening, November 5, 2021, at Berwick Hospital Center in Berwick, following a year long illness.
Born in Sugarloaf, December 9, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Olen and Edna (Beishline) Burger and had resided in Sugarloaf for her entire life.
Henrietta worked in the Medical Billing department for Medical Management Inc. Berwick. She was a member of Black Creek United Methodist Church, Sugarloaf. She enjoyed spending time at the Drums Senior Center, trips to the casino, playing BINGO, working on crossword puzzles, and watching episodes of the western Hondo.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by an infant daughter Elizabeth McCormick; a brother Carl Burger; and sisters Alice Gross, Maryann Smith, and Pauline Burger.
Surviving are her loving husband, Eugene F. McCormick to whom she was married on December 14, 1957 in Conyngham; a daughter Margaret Fetterman, Wapwallopen; son Eugene F. McCormick, Jr. and wife Elizabeth, Middleport; eight grandchildren Donnie, David, Danny, and Denis Fetterman; Donna Frederick, Michael and Jeremy McCormick, and Kaitlyn Reyes; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Dr, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
