Heidi K. (Oberst) Oberst

Heidi K. Oberst, 64, of Conyngham, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton following a brief illness.

Born in Hazleton, August 31, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Russell L. and Mary (Williams) Oberst and had spent most of her life in Conyngham.

Heidi was a 1979 graduate of West Hazleton High School and received her bachelor's degree from Penn State University. She was employed as an Office Manager for Conyngham Sales & Service, Sybertsville and was also a Teller at the Conyngham branch of PNC Bank. She was a member of Conyngham United Methodist Church, Conyngham. Heidi was quite the Francophile, having studied abroad in France and was fluent in the language. She adored reading and taking care of her cats.

Surviving are her sister, Gretchen Oberst and her companion David Faust, Pine Grove; and an aunt, Marge Oberst, Conyngham.

Her funeral will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 West Butler Drive, Drums, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
