Heath Allen Houseknecht

Heath Allen Houseknecht, 37, of West Hazleton, passed away July 29, 2025 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born in Hazleton, PA, July 23, 1988, he was the son of the late Heath Houseknecht and Melanie (Coxe) Searfoss.

Heath was a landscaper for Lombardo Lawn Care, Drums. He was a social member of VFW, White Haven and a friend of the Flying Aces Motorcycle Club, Weatherly. In his spare time he played in the pool league at The Towers Bar, enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son, giving of his time to do motorcycle benefit runs, was a friend to everyone he met, loved animals, and always tried to brighten someones day.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his father, by both sets of grandparents.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather Gary Searfoss, West Hazleton. He is also survived by his son Brody Houseknecht and his mother Kayla Lloyd, both of Freeland; brother Gage Houseknecht, West Hazleton; and niece Allison Houseknecht, West Hazleton: and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday August 1, 2025 at Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West) 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen from 6-8 PM. Internment will take place privately at the convienence of the family.
