Glenn Alan Kirschner, 39, of Drums, passed away Sunday evening, October 29, 2023, at his residence in Drums, following a heart related illness.
Born in Hazleton, July 8, 1984, he was the son of Alvin G. and Louise (Ackers) Kirschner, Drums; and had spent most of his life in Drums.
Glenn was a laborer and had worked many jobs including grinder and shipping coordinator at the Weatherly Foundry, and was employed at Zelenack Contracting Inc., Drums. He was a member of Saint John UCC Church, Drums. Glenn enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in his garden.
Surviving, in addition to his parents are his brother, Paul Dice and his wife Beth, Weatherly; niece and nephew, Kari and Kyle Dice, Weatherly; an uncle, Jerry Ackers, Freeland; an aunt, Linda Deshisky and her husband Tom, Drums, and numerous cousins.
His funeral will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 11 AM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Burial will follow in St. John's Lutheran and UCC Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service.
