Gerald J. Moff, 89, of Drums, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 20, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton following a three-week illness.
Born in Weston, March 24, 1932, he was the son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Hasker) Moff and spent the past five years in Drums, after moving from Bethlehem and had previously resided in Somerset, NJ.
Gerald was a member of the Accounting Department for Pennwalt University of Medicine and Dentistry and for Westinghouse in NJ. He was a US Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict from 1952 - 1953. He enjoyed spending time boating and swimming.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by two sisters Ethel Pecora and Gloria Schrader.
Surviving are his loving wife, the former Joan Ulshafer to whom he was married on April 14, 1956; two sisters Marion Van Horn, Levittown; and Lauretta Chenkus, Blackwood, NJ; and a brother Joseph Moff, Beaver Twp.
His funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 11am in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 260 Mahanoy St, Nuremberg with Reverend Philip Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Nuremberg Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday morning from 10am until the time of the service. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc.
