Francis W. Van Blargan Jr., 80, of Drums, passed away late Monday evening, December 13, 2021, at his residence in Drums, following a two-year illness.
Born in Hazleton, November 8, 1941, he was the son of the late Francis and Rita (Knelly) Van Blargan, Sr. and spent the past 36 years in Drums, after moving from Sheppton.
Francis was the proprietor of All Clean Janitorial Service, Drums. He was a US Army veteran who served during the Vietnam Conflict from 1963 - 1966. He loved spending time in nature, being with his children and grandchildren and quiet evenings at home.
Surviving are his loving wife, the former Susanne Johnson; four daughters Beth Ann Boyle and husband Wallace; Karen Leshko and husband Michael; Theresa Sweeney and husband Frank; and Mary Frances Van Blargan and husband Lou Melillo, all of Drums; two stepdaughters Susanne Evancho, Drums; and Aileen Barcia and husband Peter, Stamford, CT; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother Norman Van Blargan, Chandler, AZ.
His funeral will be held Friday, December 17, 2021, at 11 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc, (East), 669 W. Butler Dr. Drums. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10am until the time of the service.
