Ella A. (Bankes) Wolfe

Ella A. Wolfe, 89, of Mainville, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Bloomsburg Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bloomsburg, following a two year illness.

Born in Mountain Grove, June 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ella Bankes and spent most of her life in Beaver Valley.

Ella was a Housekeeper for Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Mt. Zion and in her spare time she enjoyed knitting.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband Walter Wolfe who passed away September 9, 1998.

Surviving are a son Merlin Keller, Mainville; three grandchildren Michael Keller, Bloomsburg; Michelle Adams, Rock Glen; and Melissa Zemany, Nescopeck; and five great-grandchildren Alyssa, Ray, Brianna, Carl and Rachel.

Her funeral will be held with a graveside service on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 11 AM in Mount Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor Phil Smith will be officiating the service.
