Edward Lloyd Daubert

Edward Lloyd "Bub" "Rabbit" Daubert, 73, of Wapwallopen, passed away Wednesday, evening December 22, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, following a six-month illness.

Born in Philadelphia, March 25, 1948, he was the son of the late Edward and Goldean (Starner) Daubert and spent the past 50 years in Wapwallopen, after moving from Philadelphia.

Edward was a US Army Veteran and had been a member of Valley Vets, VFW Post #8181, Conyngham.  He had worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for the former Boboli, Valmont.  He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Wapwallopen.  He had previously worked as a bartender for Cuz-N-Joe's, Conyngham and enjoyed shooting darts

Surviving are his wife, of the past 24 years, the former Brenda DeFazio; two daughters Melissa Morris and her husband Wayne, Abilene, TX; and Dawn Roote and her husband Jeremiah, Sweet Valley; a step-daughter Lisa Balint and her companion William Zubroski, Drums; a step-son Jonathan Balint and his wife Siobhan, Orefield; seven grandchildren; a sister Audrey Moore and her husband Mel, Hinesburg, VT.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums.  Burial will follow in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Wapwallopen.  Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 10 am until the time of the service.
