Dorothy M. (Olaski) Streit

Dorothy M. Streit, 100, of Drums, passed away Saturday evening April 25, 2026 at Fritzingertown Senior Living Community in Drums.

Born in Hazleton, PA, December 23, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Yanoski) Olaski and spent most of her life in Drums.

Dorothy was the owner of Steit's Tropical Fish and enjoyed trips to Boscov's and sewing making a lot of her own clothing.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband John Streit, her son Richard Streit and a sister Arlene Eckert.

Surviving are 4 sons John Streit and wife Sharon, Cogan Station; Nicholas Streit, Drums; Donald Streit and wife Mary, Drums; and Thomas Streit and wife Gail, Williamsport. Eight Grandchildren Carlene, Candin, Kayleigh, Kirsten, Ethan, Courtney, Vanessa, Jeffrey. Nine Great Grandchildren Riley, Grace, Kennedy, Nora, Hazel, Ryan, Aurora, Loghan, Carson. Two brothers Robert Olaski, Hazleton; brother Jack Olaski, Folsom, CA; and a sister Joan Cabell, Hazle Twp; also several nieces and nephews

All services will be held privately at the convenience of her family through Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West) 669 West Butler Drive, Drums.
