Dominic J. Forte

Dominic J. Forte of Hazleton, PA passed away on February 2, 2021. He was 95 years old.  Dominic was born and raised in Tamaqua, PA.  His parents were Sabatino and Josephine (Falasca) Forte. Dominic graduated from Tamaqua High School where he played football.  He joined the US Navy in 1943. After the war, Dominic started his own business as a wholesale coal broker.

Dominic is survived by his wife Joan (Boland) Forte, son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Karen Forte, daughters Donna Forte and Gina Forte, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 

He is also survived by his sister Louise Jewels of Tamaqua, PA and nieces and nephews. His family will miss him greatly; he was a devoted patriarch.

Dominic enjoyed golfing, deep-sea fishing, and traveling to New York City and Florida.
There will be no viewing or funeral.

Hazleton Animal Shelter.
