Dennis L. Frey

Dennis L. Frey, 79, of Bloomsburg, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 1, 2023, at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital. 

 Born in Bloomsburg, January 2, 1944, he was the son of the late Alvin and Helen (Hontz) Frey and had spent all of his life in Scotch Valley. 

 Dennis was a Laborer and part time entrepreneur.  He was an avid outdoorsman and a member of the Tip Top Hunting Club, Bloomsburg and Scotch Valley Boy's Cabin.  Dennis enjoyed making wine and sharing it with family and friends.

 He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by two brothers, Alvin "James" and Sylvester Frey. 

 Surviving are three children, Steven Frey and wife Karen, Bloomsburg; Lee Frey and wife Stacey, Bloomsburg; and Karen Ferry and husband Joseph, Nescopeck; nine grandchildren, Krista Kuczynski and husband T.J.; Jerremy Frey; Jessica Gross and husband Jeremy; Kyle Frey and wife Morgan; Kouy Frey; Samantha Lange and husband Gerry; Luke Bowes; and Cade and Owen Ferry; four great-grandchildren, Colton and Ethan Frey; and Madilyn and Hailey Gross and several nieces and nephews. 

  His funeral will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Rd., Rock Glen, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
