Daniel W. Mott

Daniel W. Mott, 74, of Nuremberg, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 29, 2023, at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Born in Bloomsburg, May 29, 1948, he was the son of the late Daniel and Violet (Judge) Mott and had spent the past few months in Nuremberg, after moving from Blairstown, NJ.

Daniel was a Drafter for Hewlett-Packard and DataScope. He was a US Army veteran during the Vietnam Conflict having served from 1968 - 1970. He was a member of the Catholic faith. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #699, Nuremberg.  Daniel enjoyed reading, trips to the shore, and going to Tower's Restaurant, Fern Glen, with his sister.
  
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a brother, Robert Mott.

Surviving are two daughters, Erin Bauer and husband Matthew, Succasunna, NJ; and Dani Staples, Landing, NJ; three grandchildren, Olivia, Jack, and Webster; two sisters, Kathy Pruskowski and husband Stephen; and Tammy Mott, all of  Zion Grove; brother, Jamie Mott, Mountainside, NJ; sister-in-law, Debbie Mott, Islamorada, FL; his longtime friend, George Papas, Nuremberg; several nieces, one nephew, three great-nieces, and one great-nephew.
 
His funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 10 AM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart RC Cemetery, Weston. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Sunday evening at the funeral home from 5 to 7 PM.
