D. Scott Davis, 68, of Hazle Township, passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 19, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit in Allentown, after being cared for by his mom, daughter, and friend Deborah.
Born in Hazleton, January 12, 1954, he was the son of Nancy (Churbock) Davis, Hazle Township; and the late David Davis and spent the past 14 years in Hazle Township after moving from Hazleton.
Scott was a Forklift Operator for Bemis Co., Hazleton; having retired in 2018. He was a member of Lattimer United Methodist Church, Lattimer Mines. He was an avid collector, enjoyed muscle cars, playing golf, fishing, and baseball.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his father by a sister Judy Mattison-Davis.
Surviving in addition to his mother are a daughter Christen Cosgrove and her husband Brian, Freeland; five grandchildren; Zuri, Brynn, Portia, River, and Teagan and friend of the family, Deborah Davis.
His funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 11 AM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service. Internment will take place privately in St. Johns Lutheran and UCC Cemetery, St. Johns.
