Concetta Elaine (DiGiorgio) Hofmann

Concetta (Connie) Elaine Hofmann, 75, of Hazleton, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15, 2023, at LVHN Hospital in Allentown, PA. She went to be with her Lord in the arms of her husband, Ron, and thoughts and prayers of her friends and family by her side.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 1 PM in Conyngham United Methodist Church. 411 Main Street, Conyngham, PA

Connie was born on April 16, 1948, to George and Elaine DiGiorgio of Passaic, NJ. From childhood she had a love for animals and a steadfast loyalty to her friends and family. Through the years all who knew her sensed her compassion and zest for life.

She spent her career as a devoted High School teacher, in New York and New Jersey. In Addition to her talents as a business teacher, she enjoyed leading Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and chaperoning student study groups on European trips..

She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Ronald Hofmann, and two children, Ross Hofmann and Ronda Hofmann, her brother George DiGiorgio, sister-in-law Gail and three nieces, Tina-husband-Rob Dutzar, Cheryl-husband Jack Chere, and Laurie-husband Aldo Sayegh.

She was preceded in death, by her father, George DiGiorgio and her mother Elaine DiGiorgio.

Heartfelt thanks are extended to Drs. Gregory Tino, Hospital of the University Pennsylvania and Gwen Huitt for, National Jewish Hospital their dedicated counsel and medical support over the years.
