Christopher Robert John Mumie

Christopher Robert John Mumie, 36, of Sugarloaf, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022.

Born in Berwick, June 8, 1985, he was the son of Stacy J. (Yeager) Perez and her husband Jose, Sugarloaf; and his father Christopher Bartholomew Mumie, Freeland; and spent most of his life in Sugarloaf.

Christopher graduated with honors from Hazleton High School in 2003. He was the Proprietor of Robert's Lawn Care, Nuremberg; and worked for Michael's Distribution, Humbolt; and Evergreen Raceway on weekends in the summer. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Nuremberg. Christopher loved the outdoors, paintball, hunting, fishing, and playing video games. He adored children and was a proud foster parent. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Robert Yeager and uncle Carl Yeager. 

Surviving in addition to his parents are three children, Gabriela Weis; Noah, and Meadow; brother Kurt Thomas Mumie, Sugarloaf; sister Nadine Marie Yeager, Sugarloaf; half-brothers Justin and Zach Mumie and Robert Dotter, all of Freeland; maternal grandmother Kathleen Yeager, Easley, SC; paternal grandmother Joann Mumie, Hazleton; companion Sherry Waldron, Nuremberg; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11 AM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Rd, Rock Glen. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service.
