Cheryl Ann Hauck, 79, of Nuremberg, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Hazleton, February 22, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Arlene (Bartell) Pangrazzi and spent most of her life in Nuremberg after moving from Harrisburg at the age 14.
Cheryl was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Nuremberg; where she was also their organist for many years. She was also was a private music teacher at Studio Danny DeMelvie, Hazleton.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband John Paul Hauck.
Surviving are her daughters, Danielle Halon, Tallahassee, FL; and Heather DeCocinis and her companion Gary Bishop; Sugarloaf; a son, John Paul Hauck, Jr. and his companion Michelene Bernotas, Nuremberg; a sister, Donna Smith, Wapwallopen; a brother, Robert Pangrazzi and his wife Karen, Wellsboro; six grandchildren, Christian Lescowitch, Earl Bruzgulis, Alexandra DeCocinis, Ryan and Brianna Halon, and Emily Bishop; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Karlie Lescowitch; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 1 PM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. Interment will follow in Nuremberg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 PM until the time of the service.
