Charles "Chuck" G. Kuczynski, 75, of Bloomsburg, passed away Friday afternoon November 25, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, following a short illness.
Born in Hazleton, March 8, 1947, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Helen (Felegie) Kuczynski and spent most of his life in Bloomsburg.
Chuck was a retired Supervisor for Bloomsburg Craftsman Warehouse, Bloomsburg where he had worked for 25 years. He was also employed by PennDOT for six years after his retirement. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the Bloomsburg Legion Post #273, and the Bloomsburg Hunting Camp. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars, especially his '65 Ford Galaxy.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his sister, Bernadine Smith.
Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years, the former Kay Michael to whom he was married on November 11, 1972 in Weston; a daughter Stacie Maschuck and husband Andy, Numedia; three sisters Helen "Helcha" Frey, Bloomsburg; Kathryn Yannes and husband James Yannes, Bloomsburg; and Christine Hollabaugh, Sunbury; two brothers Dennis Kuczynski and wife Cathy, Bloomsburg; and Terrence Kuczynski and wife Mary Ann, Frackville; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
His funeral will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen is assisting the family with the arrangements.
