Cary W. Quintrell, Jr. 56, of Bloomsburg, passed away late Monday evening, August 14, 2023, at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Sellersville on November 28, 1966, he was the son of Carol A. Quintrell, Bloomsburg; and had spent the past four years in Bloomsburg, after moving from Scotch Valley.
Cary was a union carpenter for Carpenters Local Union 445. He was of Methodist faith and enjoyed antiquing and participating in local yard sales.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his loving wife, Maria E. Santana, Bloomsburg; four sons, Matthew Neubert, Quakertown; Evan Quintrell and wife Bethany Stroud, Anchorage, AK; Braydon Quintrell, Bloomsburg; and Logan Quintrell, Bloomsburg; two stepsons, Ramon Santana and his wife Kayla, Passaic, NJ; Kevin Santana and wife Marleen, West Palm Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Ramon Santana III. and Christopher Santana; a brother, Randy Quintrell and wife Kristina, Frenchville; an aunt, June Roth, Bloomsburg; two cousins, Kathy Fisher, Mainville; and Rhonda Beaver and husband John, Milton; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Friday, August 18, 2023, at 2 PM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. Burial will follow in Nuremberg Cemetery, Zion Grove. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday afternoon from 1 PM until the time of the service.
