Carolyn Lee Tobias, 80, of Conyngham passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 12, 2024 at her residence following a three month illness.
Born in Palmerton, March 5, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Dorothy (Gallagher) Harter and spent the past 17 years in Conyngham after moving from Lady Lake, FL.
Carolyn was an Activities Director for Recreation Plantation RV Resort, Lady Lake, FL. She was a member of Christ Church United Church of Christ, Conyngham, a member and treasurer of Brainerd Church and Cemetery Association, and a member of the Sugarloaf Volunteer Fire Company. Carolyn loved to get together with her classmates once a month for adventures and lunch.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband Richard E. Tobias who passed away October 23, 2017; a son, Robert B. Price, II., who passed away May 7, 2020; and a sister, Ann Louise Lehn.
Surviving are two children, Wendy Hildebrand and husband Duane, Drums; and Thomas Price, Conyngham; a step-son, Nicholas Tobias, Hazleton; three grandchildren, Cody Price, Nuremberg; Peter Hildebrand, Drums; and Jaiden Rabuck, Jacksonville, FL; and nephew, John Lehn and wife Sylvia, Reading, PA.
Her funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 11AM in the Historic Brainerd Church, 95 N. Main Street, Sugarloaf. Burial will follow in Conyngham Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Dr., Drums, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
