Carol A. Zalutko, 73, of Drums, passed away Monday morning, October 26, 2020 at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born in Hazleton, October 29, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Veronica (Worek) Bertolini and spent her entire life in Drums.
Carol had worked as an Office Manager for Martini Trucking, Drums. She was a member of Good Shepherd RC Church, Drums and enjoyed crafting, gardening, cooking, and camping.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by a brother James Bertolini.
Surviving are two sons Jeffrey Zalutko and his companion Carol Claypotch; and Brian Zalutko, both of Drums; an adopted daughter Lisa DuPee; and her husband Jay, East Greenville; a grandson Keith St. Clair, Hazleton; two great-grandchildren Lily and Keith; a brother Richard Bertolini and his wife Mary Gail, Drums; a sister Vicki Savarese and her husband Vincent, Centennial, CO; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 9:30am from Good Shepherd RC Church, 87 Hunter Highway, Drums. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, 49 S. Hunter Highway, Drums. Friends are invited to call at the church from 9am until the time of the Mass.
