Carol J. (Wagner) Pastorella

Carol J. Pastorella, 81, of Sugarloaf, passed away Tuesday morning, October 3, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown, following a sudden illness.

Born in Hazleton, July 15, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Kenneth and Ida Irene Wagner and had spent most of her life in Sugarloaf.

Carol was a Registered Nurse for many hospitals in the Lehigh Valley Health Network.  She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Conyngham. Carol loved watching Penn State Football, the Philadelphia Flyers, and NASCAR races.  She adored animals and often donated to many animal organizations.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband Vincent James Pastorella, who passed away in 1980; and an infant granddaughter, Sarah Marie Buchert.
 
 Surviving are a daughter Pamela Iacovacci, Schenectady, NY; four grandchildren, Madison, Kayla, Christopher and Michael, her companion, Thomas C. Toth, Drums; and her four cats.
 
 Her funeral will be held privately at the convenience of the family in St. John's Lutheran and UCC Cemetery, Drums.  Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums is assisting the family with the arrangements.
