Arlene E. Mumaw, 88, of Rock Glen, passed away Wednesday morning, November 9, 2022 at Kadima Rehabilitation and Nursing at Luzerne in Drums, following a brief illness.
Born in Danville, October 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Grace Rissel Warren-Roberts and spent the past 47 years in Rock Glen, after moving from Conyngham.
Arlene was a Seamstress for many local garment factories. She enjoyed making her own clothing in her earlier years, baking during the holidays, cooking and reading.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband William W. Mumaw, Jr., infant twins, Kit and Scott; grandson Matthew Joseph Baker, and sister Nancy Hutton.
Surviving are three children, Darlene Mumaw, Rock Glen; Katrina Baker, Conyngham; William W. Mumaw III., Drifton; five grandchildren, Daniel Mumaw, Drifton; Sara Matushoneck and husband Leo, Sugarloaf; Kristina Baker, Mt. Grove; Walter Baker, Jr., Conyngham; Kailey Nemeth, Conyngham; brother Jeff Warren, Sugarloaf; sister Dorothy Harker, WY; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 West Butler Drive, Drums, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
