Ann Marie (Gera) DeLese

Ann Marie DeLese, 60, of Hazle Twp, passed away Saturday evening, May 23, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown, following a brief but difficult battle with cancer.

Born in Hazleton, August 6, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Marie Ann (Roof) Gera and grew up in PA, moved to New Mexico for eight years, then returned to her home state.

Ann was a graduate of Freeland High School class of 1983. Ann was dedicated, loyal, hardworking and always willing to help someone in need. She was very devoted to her family, with her grandchildren being her whole world.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her two sons, Joseph and Michael DeLese and two sisters, Irene Schoch and Darlene Beazzo.

Surviving are her first and only husband, Michael J. DeLese; to whom she was married 43 years on December 24, 2026; two children, Christopher DeLese and fiancée Alyssa Fuehrer, Zion Grove; and Sarah DeLese and fiancée John T. Cibulish, Hazle Twp; three grandchildren, Raelynn, Remington, and Savannah; six siblings, Donna Christman and husband Kenny, Slatington; Robert Mengle and wife Joanne, Foster Twp; Emil Gera, III and wife Linda, Buck Mountain; Marianna Gera, Drifton; John Gera and wife Jennifer, Freeland; and George Gera and wife LeeAnn, Freeland; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held with a Graveside Service on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 10 AM in Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, 49 S Hunter Hwy, Drums, PA 18222. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W Butler Dr, Drums, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
