Albert O. Antolick, 82, of Drums, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton, following a sudden illness.
Born in Hazleton, November 18, 1938, he was the son of the late Albert and Mary (Adamshick) Antolick and lived his entire life in Drums, after moving from Freeland with his parents at age three.
Albert had worked at the former Dorr-Oliver, Hazleton, was a Manager for InterMetro Industries, Wilkes-Barre, and later served as the Butler Township Zoning Officer, before retiring in 2003. After retiring he continued to serve on the Butler Township Zoning Board, a position he held until his passing. He was a member of Good Shepherd RC Church, Drums. He was also a Life Member of Butler Township Fire Company, and the Hazle-Azalea Fellowship Masonic Lodge #327. He was a past member, president, and secretary of Drums Lions Club, and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of the past 57 years, the former Mary Ellen Sypeck; a son Edmund Antolick, Philadelphia; a daughter Alicia Drone, Summit, NJ; and three grandchildren Addison, Logan, and Avery.
His funeral will be held Monday, September 27, 2021 at 10 am with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial in Good Shepherd RC Church, 87 S. Hunter Hwy, Drums. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. Friends may call at the church Monday morning from 9 am until the time of the Mass.
