Adrienne L. (Bruzgulis) Pendergast

Adrienne L. Pendergast, 63, of Hazle Township, passed away Thursday afternoon, January 28, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton in Hazelton, following a brief illness.

Born in Hazleton, June 6, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Rita (Schlegel) Bruzgulis and spent the past five years in Hazle Township, after moving from Hazleton and Sheppton.

Adrienne had worked in serveral local manufactuing facilities.  She enjoyed gardening, camping, and fishing.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by an infant sister Faith Bruzgulis.

Surviving are her husband of the past 17 years, Jack E. Pendergast; five children Cheri Thomas and her fiance Steven Hill, Nanticoke; Jamie Mundie and his wife Audrey Romano, State College; Jack Pendergast and his wife Jennifer Pendergast, Chatsworth, NJ; Sarah Fisher and her husband Matthew, Eugene, OR; and Kylie Pendergast and her fiance Kyle Schweitzer, Eugene, OR; 11 grandchildren, Tyler and Owen Thomas; Blake, Hali, and Reilley Pendergast; Delilah, Dominic, Gabriel, and Maximus Fisher; Ingrid Mundie; and Lucas Schweitzer; two brothers Peter Bruzgulis and his wife Cyndi, Beaufort, NC; and John Bruzgulis and his wife Jeri, White Haven; two sisters Melinda Jabjiniak and her husband Richard, Mountain Top; and Maureen Bloch and her husband Kermit, Alburtis; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held with a Memorial Service, Thursday February  4, 2021 at 11 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums.  Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 10 am until the time of the service.  COVID 19 restrictions of mask wearing, social distancing, and capacity limits will be enforced.  Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
