Adalgisa P. "Adele" Marcinko, 77, of Fern Glen, passed away Tuesday morning at The Manor at St. Luke Village, Hazleton following a brief illness.
Born in Bloomsburg on March 17, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Martella) Vagnoni and spent the past 40 years in Fern Glen, after moving from Beaver Valley.
Adele was an office manager for ILGWU and worked in the women’s department at Boscov's Department Store for 20 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Weston. She was very involved with her community and enjoyed being social. She liked to spend her time antiquing, gardening, and cooking.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband Michael Marcinko who passed away September 15, 2013; and two brothers Joseph and Anthony Vagnoni.
Surviving is a sister Annamarie Vagnoni, Millville; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 25, 2022, at 11 AM in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Weston. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West) 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen, on Friday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
