Thomas J. Fellin, 83, of Weston, passed away Friday afternoon at Hershey Medical Center, following a short illness.
Born in Sheppton, October 12, 1934, he was the son of the late Silvio and Mary Rose (Maloney) Fellin. He grew up in Sheppton and then served with the US Army from 1957-1959. After his discharge he settled in Weston, where he resided for more than 50 years.
Prior to retiring, Thomas worked in manufacturing factories, including Kawecki Berylco Industries in Stockton and Forbo Industries in Humboldt. He was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church, Weston. He served as President of the Nuremberg-Weston Fire Company. He enjoyed hunting and shooting and was a member of the NRA. He was a long-time New York Yankee and Notre Dame fan.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his wife the former Cecelia Supon, who passed away in 2011; and two sons Anthony, 1963, and Thomas, 1984.
Surviving are a son Daniel and his wife Shannon and their sons Adam and Ryan, Hummelstown; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West) 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in Sacred Heart RC Church, 554 Main Street, Weston. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening 6-9 pm. A Christian Wake Service will be held Tuesday evening.
