Ronald E. Zanoline, Jr., 56, of Drums, passed away Friday evening at the Pavilion at St. Luke Manor, surrounded by his loving wife, family, and friends, from complications of a series of strokes.
Born in Hazleton, January 6, 1962, he was the son of Ronald E. and Linda (Boock) Zanoline, Sr., Sugarloaf. He was a 1980 graduate of West Hazleton High School, and attended the Vo-Tech School, studying Machine Shop and becoming a certified machinist. He had lived in the Valley for his entire life.
Ronald enjoyed woodworking, restoring old cars, and riding motorcycles and was employed as a Maintenance Mechanic for Fabri-Kal, Valmont Industrial Park.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are his wife, Lillian (Hudak) Avila-Zanoline; three step-sons Roy Avila, (children Lucia, Ruby, and Amara), North Dakota; Nicholas Avila (Liberty), (son Reed), Oregon; and Steven Avila (Courtney), (son Alex), California; two brothers James Zanoline (Tammy), Zion Grove; and Daniel Zanoline, Sugarloaf; four nieces, Victoria, Lindsay, Caitlyn, and Danielle; his mother-in-law Gabriella Schwiekert, Columbiana, OH; brother-in-law Laszlo Hudak (Joan), Barnesville; and three uncles S. Robert Zanoline (Donna), Conyngham; Richard W. Zanoline (Nancy), Drums; and James Boock, Dallas.
His funeral will be held Friday at 11 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East) 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening 6-8 pm and Friday morning from 10 am until the time of the service. Interment will take place privately.
