Robert L. Belletiere

Robert L. Belletiere, 58, of Cove Village, Zion Grove, passed away Monday morning at his residence.

Born in Hazleton, March 26, 1959, he was the son of the late Peter P. and Anne (Yaniga) Belletiere and had resided in Zion Grove for the past 12 years.

Robert was a Maintenance Supervisor at Hershey Co. in Hazle Twp.  He was a valued employee for 36 years and had an exceptional work ethic.  Since adolescence he had a passion for photography.  He also enjoyed drafting and AutoCAD.  Robert was an avid outdoors man who appreciated nature and all animals. He had a love for fishing and fossil collecting.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by brothers James and Peter Jr. who both passed away in 2002; and a nephew James Jr. who passed away in 2005.

Surviving are his loving fiancée, Nancy and her children, who lovingly referred to him as “Ranger”, a nickname which he treasured; two sisters, Congetta Blumer and husband Paul, Cove Village; and Gisele Weatherman and husband Bob, Brandonville; adopted daughter, Amanda Belletiere, and her children and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 26th at 5pm from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 West Butler Drive, Drums with the Rev. William “Chip” Fairchild officiating the service.  Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 3pm until the time of the service.
