Richard Wayne Robinson

Richard Wayne Robinson, 63, entered into eternal rest early Tuesday morning (April 25, 2017) at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.

Born in Carbondale, March 8, 1954, he was the son of Antoinette Vita (Carolla) Robinson, Drums; and the late Richard William Robinson.  He had resided in Drums for most of his life.

Ricky was a 1972 graduate of Hazleton High School.

He worked as an NC Operator at the former Garland Commercial Industries in Freeland for 30 years.  He enjoyed spending time gardening, planting flowers and cooking out on the grill. He possessed a fondness for all types of animals and was a great lover of music especially the late greats; Elvis Presley and Dean Martin. He was a loving son and brother who valued family and friends.

Ricky will be deeply missed, always remembered, never forgotten.

He is survived by his mother, Anne; sister, Lynne Anne Robinson, Lancaster; and a cousin, Michael Frank Carolla, Swansea, Mass.

His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory (East) 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am in St. John Bosco RC Church, 573 PA-93, Sugarloaf.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.  Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8pm.  A Christian Wake Service will be held Tuesday evening.
