Maryann Marie (Petsuck) Merrill

Maryann Marie Merrill, 65, of Ebervale, passed away early Friday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Shenandoah on September 18, 1951, she was the daughter of the late John Peter “Oscar” and Josephine Ann “Josie” (Socker) Petsuck and had spent the last 30 years in Ebervale after moving from White Haven.

Maryann graduated from J.W. Cooper High School, in Shenandoah in 1969.  She worked in the area as a medical secretary for several years and later as a quality assurance technician. She was a member of the Lattimer United Methodist Church, the Ladies United Methodist Community Club, and the Senior Choice Community.  Maryann loved to travel, do crafts and garden.

Surviving are her loving husband, Paul R. Merrill, with whom she would be married for 43 years on October 5, 2017; daughter, Ashley Bartoli and her husband Jason, Hometown; brother, Ronald Petsuck and his wife Marguerite, Drums; and will be greatly missed by many friends, neighbors, nieces and nephews.

Her funeral with a memorial service will be held Saturday at 9 am in Lattimer United Methodist Church, Quality Rd., Lattimer Mines, PA 18234. Her pastor the Rev. Earl Roberts will officiate the service.  Friends and family are invited to call at the church from 8 am until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Maryann’s name may be made to the Lattimer United Methodist Church, C/O 320 Four Seasons Drive, Drums, PA 18222.  Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc.
