Martha Louise Juna, 92, of Drums, passed away early Saturday morning at Providence Place Senior Living Community, Drums following a lengthy illness.
Born in Jeddo, PA, April 7, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Lukach) Becker and had spent the past eight years in Drums, after moving from New Port Richey, FL where she had resided for 26 years.
Martha had worked as a waitress at Genetti's and a Line Inspector for Tung-Sol, Hazleton, prior to her retirement. While in Florida she was a hospice volunteer and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Thomas Aquinas RC Church in New Port Richey. She enjoyed gardening and entertaining family and friends. She loved to travel, seeing new places and making new friends.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband Paul J. Juna, who passed away, April 15, 1986; three sisters Betty Carner, Mary Stoneham, and Anna Becker; and a brother John Becker.
Surviving are her son Jim Juna, and his wife Joann, New Tripoli; and several nieces.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2018 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. John Bosco RC Church, 573 State Route 93, Sugarloaf. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery, Drums. There will be no public viewing.
