Marjorie Adelaide (Bleilevens) Murach, 94, of Ocean Grove, NJ, passed away early Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Allegria at Ocean Grove in Ocean Grove, NJ.
Born in West New York, NJ, May 29, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Gerhardt and Adelaide (Quinlan) Bleilevens and spent the past seven years in Ocean Grove, after moving from Sugarloaf, PA where she had resided for 23 years after moving from Brooklyn, NY.
Marjorie was a Bookkeeping Supervisor for Homelife Insurance Co. for 15 years and had also worked on Wall Street in the Finance arena for 10 years. She was a member of St. John Bosco RC Church, Sugarloaf. She enjoyed spending time playing the piano, traveling, teaching children, keeping diaries and playing cards.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband Charles J. Murach, who passed away June 24, 2001; a brother Rev. Monsignor Charles Bleilevens; and a sister Janet Miller.
Surviving are two sons Brian C. Murach and his wife Margarita, Green Twp., NJ; and Paul D. Murach, Hartsdale, NY; two daughters Carolynn E. Murach, Whiting, NJ; and Monica Murach-Lipton and her husband Dr. David Lipton, Wayside, NJ; four grandchildren Noah, Rachel, Alexandra and Zachary; three step-grandchildren Scott, Aaron and Maria; two great-grandchildren Ryan and Jameson and many nieces and nephews. Special gratitude to the caring staff of Allegria at Ocean Grove with special thanks to Dr. Shi, Jackie, Dani, Maxine and the entire staff.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 9:30 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East) 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. John Bosco RC Church, 573 State Route 93, Sugarloaf. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM.
