Marilyn W. Comstedt, 89, passed away Friday morning at the pavilion at St. Luke Manor, Hazleton where she had resided for the past year.
Born in Hazleton she was the daughter of the late Glen and Lois (Gerber) Wagner and has spent the past 19 years in the Hazleton area after moving from Pennsauken, NJ.
Marilyn was a LPN working in Home care in her younger years and retired working in the cafeteria for schools in NJ.
She was a member of Faith U.C.C. Church, Hazleton and while in New Jersey was a member of her Church Circle Ladies Group.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband Carl C. Comstedt in 2009 and a brother Alfred Wagner.
Surviving are a daughter Brenda Seeman and her husband Todd, Hanover, MD, two grandchildren Melissa White and her husband Derek, Westerville, OH; and Scott Seeman, Johnson City TN, one great grandson Max White; brothers and sisters Wilma Howard, Hazleton Glen Wagner and his wife Shirley, Hatfield, Melva Spiece and her husband Clyde, Nuremberg, Myrna Labenberg and her husband Robert, Zion Grove, and Alue Wagner and his wife Diane, Hazle Twp.; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 11:00 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East) 669 West Butler Drive, Drums. Burial will follow in Nuremberg Cemetery, Nuremberg. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Saturday morning from 10 am until time of service.
