Joseph F. Sydlo, age 93 of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018.
He was born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, to the late Ignatius and Anna Grula Sydlo.
Joseph enjoyed music, singing, playing the keyboard, and was very interested in religion and nutrition. He honorably served our country in the Philippines in World War II. Joseph attended St. Stephen Catholic Community where he was a member for three years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Sydlo.
He is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Cecelia M. Sydlo; son, Joseph D. Sydlo and his wife, Cynthia; three grandchildren, Joseph J. Sydlo, Celina A. Sydlo, and Benjamin A. Sydlo; and nephew, Joseph Bagnata. Visitation will be at St. Stephen Catholic Community, 14544 Lebanon Road, Old Hickory, Tennessee, on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 5:30 pm with Mass at 6:00 pm. Refreshments to follow. Graveside Services will be at Calvary Cemetery in Pennsylvania on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:00 am.
