Gary Lasecki

Gary Lasecki, 64, of Drums, passed away early Friday morning at the Pavilion at St. Luke Village, Hazleton, following a one-month illness.

Born in Drums, April 5, 1953, he was the son of the late Walter and Dolores (Strumski) Lasecki, and spent most of his life in Drums.

Gary attended Penn State University and had worked in the Maintenance Department for the Hazleton Area School District, most recently at the Drums Elementary School, before retiring in September of 2016.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a son Chris, who passed away January 17, 2016.

Surviving are a son Joel, Fayetteville, NC; a brother Richard and his wife Susan, Drums; and two nephews Michael and his wife Lily, Drums; and Brandon, Baltimore, MD.

All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
