Gary L. Croll, 71, of Zion Grove, passed away early Thursday morning at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Born in Hazleton, September 6, 1946, he was the son of the late Henry and Evelyn (Mummey) Croll and spent his entire life in Zion Grove.
Prior to his retirement, Gary had worked as an electrical engineer for PPL for over 30 years. He served his community as a North Union Township Supervisor for 17 years. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Nuremberg; and a member and past-president of the Twin County Lions Club. In his free time he enjoyed traveling.
Gary is survived by his fiancé Donna Clouse; his two children Michelle Wilcut and her husband John, Norco, LA; and Jeffrey Croll and his wife Melissa, Zion Grove; two grandchildren Regan Duffourc, and Broc Croll; four sisters Jackie Hoats; Linda Mankiewicz and her husband Alfred; and Cindy McGuire and her husband Jim, all of Zion Grove, and Julie Grimes and her husband Robert, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation Monday evening 6-8 pm at Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West) 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen.
