Edward M. Wolk

Edward M. Wolk, 79, of Oneida, passed away Thursday evening at Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center.

Born in Oneida, January 25, 1938, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Honis) Wolk and spent most of his life in Oneida.

Edward worked as a propane delivery driver for Bones Bottled Gas.  He was a member of St. Joseph’s RC Church, Sheppton and was a US Army Veteran. 

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by brothers Joseph, Carl, and Leonard.

Surviving are a sister Barbara Devaney and her husband Joseph, Weston; a brother Robert, Sheppton; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 10 am with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s RC Church, Sheppton.  Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.  Friends may call Saturday morning at the church from 9 am until the time of the Mass.
