Dolores Ann Lettiere, 75, of Sugarloaf, passed away December 9th, at her home surrounded by her loving family following a two-year illness.
Born in Sugarloaf, November 25, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Zieminski) Bindas and had lived Sugarloaf her entire life.
Dolores was a graduate of West Hazleton High School 1961. She was a member of Saint John Bosco RC Church, Sugarloaf. She was the owner and manager of Old Fashioned Christmas Shoppe, Sybertsville; and manager of the Colonies in the Laurel Mall; she was also an Administrative Assistant at Cargill, Hazleton. Dolores was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She resided on her family farm, Foothills Dairy, which she always cherished. Dolores also enjoyed volunteering at her church, baking, canning, flowers, gardening and decorating for the holidays.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her brother John Bindas, Jr.
Surviving are her loving husband Rocco Lettiere, Sr.; Sugarloaf; daughter Janine Lettiere, Mechanicsburg; daughter Christine Sabatini and her husband Brian Sabatini; Sugarloaf son Rocco Lettiere, Jr. and his wife Sherri; Sugarloaf; four grandchildren Helena and Nikolas Di Caprio; Mitchell and Alicia Sabatini; and a sister Eleanor Furnanage, Sugarloaf.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 13, 2018 in St. John Bosco RC Church at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow privately in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Thursday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass.
