Dawn E. (Michael) Schell

Dawn E. Schell, 90, of Bloomsburg, passed away early Saturday morning at Signature HealthCARE, Bloomsburg.

Born in Bloomsburg, March 22, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Florence M. (Hauck) Michael and has spent her entire life in Bloomsburg.

Dawn was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Beaver Twp. and she had worked for US Radium in Bloomsburg.  She enjoyed spending her spare time reading and crocheting.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband Robert F. Schell, Sr. who passed away November 19, 2003.

Surviving are her two children, Beverly J. Michael and Robert F. Schell, Jr. and his wife Kathy, all of Bloomsburg; a grandson, Adam Schell, Harrisburg; a brother Robert W. Michael and his wife Marianna, a sister Gloria J. Fritz and her husband Norman, all of Bloomsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:30 am from St. Peter Lutheran Church, 114 Beaver Valley Rd., Bloomsburg, followed by burial in Harger’s Cemetery.  Friends are invited to call Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory (West), 1265 Rock Glen Rd., Rock Glen.
