Carol M. (Kress) Dotter

Carol M. Dotter, 81, of Sugarloaf, passed away Monday evening, March 25, 2019 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness with cancer.

Born in Pittston, December 9, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rita (Frederick) Kress, Sr. and had spent the most of her adult life in Sugarloaf.

Carol was an Administrative Assistant for SCI Mahanoy until she retired. She was also a member of the American Correction Assoc. Carol enjoyed playing Bingo, trips to the casinos, playing golf and watching her Phillies.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by a sister Rosemarie Kress, and daughter-in-law Karen Good.

Surviving are her loving husband of 31 years, Donald E. Dotter, Sugarloaf; five children, Diane Good and companion Edward Kapes, Rock Glen; Gerald Good, Aurora, CO; John Good and wife Michele, Drums; Michael Good and wife Donna, Mt. Top; and Susan Good and companion John Watkins, Weatherly; siblings Marita Nelson, Wilkes-Barre; Jeanette George, Allentown; Margaret Kress, Mt. Top; Thomas Kress, Jr., Mt. Top; Barbara Sobiecki, Swoyersville; and Sandra Mushock, Mt. Top.
