Arland E. Mumaw 83, of Maple Street, Drums, passed away Saturday afternoon at Mountain Top Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center, Mountain Top.
Born in Sugarloaf on May 3, 1928, he was the son of the late Raymond and Margaret (Bicking) Mumaw.
He was a laborer for Certainteed insulation, Mountain Top, and was a member of St. Johns U.C.C. Church, St. Johns.
Arland was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
Surviving are his wife of the past 59 years Bernadine (Pfeil) Mumaw; three children, Alicia Pulings and her husband, Jan, Drums; Lisa Benninger and her husband, Paul, Sugarloaf; and Arland J. Mumaw, Drums; nine grandchildren, David, Olivia, and Miranda Erricheho, Ryan Petrone, Logan Benninger, Amanda Flaim, Michael, Arland G. and Nadine Mumaw.
His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service.
