Deborah L. (Katchmarik) Katchmarik

Deborah L. Katchmarik, 66, of Hazleton, passed away Thursday morning, April 11, 2024, at her residence in Hazleton. 

 Born in Hazleton, July 19, 1957, she was the daughter of the late George V. and Helen (Boczkowski) Katchmarik and had spent her entire life in Hazleton. 

 Deborah retired from the Hershey Company, Hazleton. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul's Slovak Lutheran Church, Hazleton. Deborah enjoyed spending her time at home and taking care of her many dogs over the years.

 She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her brother, Mark G. Katchmarik, who passed away December 21, 2021, and her dog Spike. 

 Surviving are a cousin, Dean Fromkin and wife Jeanette, Pembroke Pines, FL; her longtime friend, Linda Lorah, Ringtown; and her canine companion Hachi. 

 Her funeral will be held privately with a graveside service in Ss. Peter and Paul's Slovak Lutheran Cemetery, Hazleton.  Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 West Butler Drive, Drums, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
