Denny was one of my favorite people in the industry during my 28 years at Air Products and the last 10 with Airgas. I can't count the number of times he assited me with a new customer or with an issue at an existing customer. He was one of the most professional folks I've ever met while at the same time being one of the funniest. He will certainly be missed. Please know that my thoughts are with your family. To use my favorite Denny quote..."Stay up wind, my friend..."

Elaine, Linds and Ben..Denny was a good, genuine, funny guy...my memories of him are filled with laughter, kindness and a man with an intelligent mind who found pleasure in many things that life had to offer. Though your hearts are heavy and filled with sorrow at this time, may they soon be filled with the love and beautiful memories Denny gave to the three of you...His life touched so many...God Bless Denny and all of you...

Dear Cathy and Larry,
I wanted to send my condolences as a voice from your Levittown past. Your family lived across the street from us on Rambler Lane for a while. We used to visit your house when you moved to Juniper Hill (if I remember correctly). I can still remember what your Mom and Dad looked like, they were good people. Your family is part of the good remembrances from my childhood and teen years. You and your families are in my prayers. Take care.
Blessings and Peace.

Thanks for posting the obit in the Courier Times. Denny and I were pals though our early days in Levittown and lost touch when we went our separate ways for college. He was always my first choice as partner for tossing a baseball, building an elegant snow fort, roller skating down hilly streets, torturing our younger brothers, learning something mechanical from his father Bill, or perpetrating minor misdeeds on mischief night. How sad to lose such a vibrant fellow. My sincere sympathy. May he fish forever in a clear stream somewhere "upstate."

Dear Croll Family, You are in our prayers at Air Products. Thank you for sharing your Husband/Dad with us all the years we had him at APCI. He was an unique individual with a great personality, always willing to lend a help where it was needed. He was a pleasure, and in every conversation he and I ever had, it started out talking about family. He was truly proud of you! May you remember all the fine times you had together. I am sure Denny is enjoying Fishing in the Stars and keeping an eye on you. God Bless...

God Speed Mr Croll!

To Denny’s Family, I am so sorry for the loss and what I can say is an inadequate expression of what I feel in my heart. I will remember Denny as he lived, bringing life and love and joy to those who knew him and for his service to us at Air Products. The fruits of your labors kept us safe, Denny. I mourn your passing and will never forget you. For those who knew you well and loved you, the pain is deep and will endure. I find consolation in faith, for I know in my heart that you now make your home beyond the stars, safe in God's promise of eternal life.

To the Croll Family,

I had the pleasure of working with Denny may times on the phone and most recently in May of this year at an ERT session in Austin Texas. I want you to know that MANY people will continue to benefit from his efforts to keep us all safe around the products we deal with. And I have no doubt that someones life will be saved due to Denny's work.

And yes... His comment "stay upwind my friend" will stay with us forever.

To the Croll Family,

I worked with Denny many times in the past and recently last fall
in New Orleans. I remember his many visits to Canada for
emergency response training and stories of your visits to the
cottage in the Ottawa area that he so much enjoyed.

On behalf of the Air Products Employees in Canada

He will be missed.

Our prayers will be with you.

A call from Denny to let me know that he had an "opportunity" for me was always a challenge. But any contact with Denny always brightened your day.
I did not meet his family but can understand their loss. My deepest sympathies.
I will remember Denny always and am sad that I could not say goodbye.

Even though I have gone from Air Products for several years, I still treasure the times that I got to work with Denny. He could make any emergency situation serious and fun at the same time. He had an amazing grip on reality and told things like they were. He could make me laugh and want to be involved and helpful in any circumstance. He was an incredible personality and I am sure he will be missed by his family and local community. I am very sorry for your loss.

My condolences to you on the loss of your treasured family member. I have had the priviledge of interacting with Denny for many years. His great sense of humor always put a smile on my face even though most of our "work" was over the phone since I am in Los Angeles. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Aunt Elaine, Lindsey and Ben:

We are sorry that we couldn''t make it up there! However, you are in our thoughts and prayers. These past few days, Corey has shared some fun memories he has of Uncle Dennis with the girls... we want the girls to know what a great Uncle he is since they didn''t get a chance to meet him. We love you all and will keep you in our prayers.

Denny was always ready to assist anyone in dealing with a remediation issue, regardless of circumstance or the company involved. Thus, the scope of his influence was far beyond the company that signed his paycheck. While the greatest burden of loss is undoubted borne by his family, and our condolences go out to those that loved him the most, the industry itself has also suffered a great and irreplaceable loss.
