Stanley M. “Pusser” Laudig, 88, of Nuremberg passed away Wednesday afternoon at his residence following a short illness.
Born in Mainville, November 11, 1927, he was the son of the late Torrence and Florence (Lutz) Laudig and had spent the past 58 years in Nuremberg after moving from Zion Grove.
Stanley was a retired machine operator at several manufacturing plants and also worked on the family farm. He was a member of Emmanuel U.C.C., Nuremberg, Tri Town Rec. Club, North Union Rod and Gun Club, Shenandoah Fish and Game Club, were he enjoyed hunting and fishing; he was also a member of the American Legion Post 699, Nuremberg, and also enjoyed gardening and playing shuffle board.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was his wife Charla (Herring) Laudig who passed away on February 6, 1997.
Surviving are cousins and many, many friends.
His funeral will be held with a memorial service on Saturday at 11:00AM From Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. Internment will take place privately in St Johns Cemetery, St. Johns. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:30 until time of service.
