Samantha May Smith

Samantha May Smith, 37, of Larksville, passed away Saturday evening at her home.

Born in Kingston, October 8, 1980, she was the daughter of Frederick C. Smith, Mountaintop, and Barbara (Ford) Smith, Drums.  She had spent the past 10 years in Larksville after moving from Pittston.  She had lived most of her younger years in Drums.

Samantha was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of King’s College, School of Business, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management and a Minor in Marketing.  She worked in the Human Resources field.  

She was a member of the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, Kingston, and took great joy in raising her two young sons Ryan Smith and Taj Johnson.

She was preceded in death, by paternal grandparents Emily and Lamont Smith; and maternal grandfather Leo Ford.

Surviving, in addition to her parents and sons, are a brother Austin Smith, Drums; maternal grandmother Eleanor Ford, West Pittston; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East) 669 W.
