Rosalie Virginia (Spencer) Witner

Rosalie Virginia Witner, 77, of Beaver Meadows, passed away Friday, 24 March, in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.  She was a daughter of the late Virginia L. (Young) and Russell C. Spencer.

A 1958 graduate of Weatherly High School, she was employed by Hazleton area garment factories.  Rosie was an avid Boston Red Sox and George Strait fan.  She worshipped in the Catholic faith.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were brother, Russell Spencer; sister, June Wilson; and beloved pets, Keagle and Muffy.

She is survived by her husband, William C. Witner; children, Maria (Michael) Hydock, Annville; Laura, at home; William B. (Marviann), Mountaintop; and Charlotte (James) Kapuschinsky, Vestal, NY; six grandchildren; brother, Charles Spencer, Hazleton; and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Services are private and will take place at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are being handled by Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory (East).
