Ralph L. Weir

Ralph L. Weir, 70, of Hazleton passed away Monday afternoon at Butler Valley Manor following a brief illness. 

Born in Hazleton on January 1, 1945 he was the son of Dorothy (Schrader) Weir, West Hazleton; and the late Allen Weir who passed away June 13, 1968.

Ralph worked for PP&L in the customer service department, and was a credit union manager at Keystone First Federal Credit Union where he retired in 2011.  Ralph was involved with the Hazleton Cemetery Association, and enjoyed traveling to Colorado, Arizona, and Florida.

Surviving are two children, Thomas Weir and his wife Shanna, Drums; and Amy Weir, Hazleton.

The family will be receiving friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory (East) 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums.  Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family in St. Johns Lutheran and UCC Cemetery, St. Johns.
